Killings in Juarez. Is there a solution?

During the weekend, fourteen people were killed at a birthday party in Juarez. Why? The killers were looking for a kid that was not even at the birthday party. Poor children did not have any idea that that was going to be their last birthday party they would be going to. I question myself, why would a person make such a massacrePersonally, I do not think that these killings will ever stop. If people can kill another person without having any guilt in their conscious, what makes us think that they will suddenly stop. A miracle would have to occur for all of these immoral killings to stop, I think that as well as others I have lost hope for this to stop. If the government can not stop nor the police, then what can?
Perhaps maybe the United States can help them out, but we tried once and they refused to receive our help. It is immoral that the mexican government refused the help because day by day they are losing people, innocent people. I guess this will not stop until everyone decides to come clean and show who they really are, because I strongly believe that the mexican government has a lot to do with what is going on.

  2. It is true that mexico refuses our help. I also agree that the government has a lot to do with the problems in Mexico

  3. Little One you posted a comment on UTEP Miner!! blog, in that blog you said that "prayer is not the solution, think outside the box and take action". Prayer is the best option you can possibly do because God can do the impossible. Since you believe that we must take action why havent you done so? The answer to that is because you will be putting your life at risk. It is not as easy as you think Little One. I agree with you that the mexican government hasn't intervened in this massive issue.

  4. #4shags,
I agree that God can do the impossible.
& the reason that i have not taken action is because it is not my battle to fight. a wise person once told me to know how to pick my battles in life. & the battle going on is NOT mine to fight.
I guess everyone is put in the middle with this situation, but it just comes to show how selfish people are.
they wouldnt risk their lives for others, but there are people willing to risk their lives for them. for example like firefighters.
idk i could go on and on about this but what good would it do.

  5. I think that even if it's not your fight, it would be nice to at least do the little things that are at your reach. It's better to pray for Juarez than not doing anything at all, but that's just up to everyone and how selfish they can be. Also, what moves you to choose your battles? If people just chose battles that are directly affecting them, then there would be absolutely no solidarity; it, again, depends on how selfish each of us can be.

  6. It is ovious that it is not our battle to fight, but that shouldn't stop us from trying to help in any way even if it is something as simple as praying. Everyone has their own believes and does whatever they think can help out, in my case it would be praying. Yes you have your opinion but don't just judge and go saying to think of something better to do, when you yourself are not willing to help out in any way.
